Cozy Farming & Cooking  – Farm to Table Demo

Grow your own Ingredients

Manage your own farm and restaurant. Create new dishes with your vegetables and manage the supply for your restaurant. Build and decorate your restaurant how you like it. Explore the island and find hidden ingredients.

When I tried the demo I had so much fun I ended up playing for 2 hours straight. The building, cooking and gathering ingredients is very smooth and fun. While the demo is still very limited and many features are locked, it’s fun.

Gameplay

When first playing you get a good tutorial that gives you the base controls but does not force you to follow it by the letter. While this is not a simulator like “Fastfood Simulator” it gives a similar feeling while playing. But different to most of these job simulator games the environment feels alive and not as a background. You can interact with your potential customers and a few other shop owners. So it’s worth exploring the island. Not only for the shops but for finding some ingredients too.

Farm to Table did a really good job combining the farming mechanic with the restaurant mechanic and the “open-world” aspect. While you can grow most of your ingredients there are some that you need to gather yourself around the island. There is always something to do and, while it’s similar, you are not always doing the same thing.

Design

The game has a cozy almost squishy low-poly art style. And the music really supports the cozy feeling when playing. They did a good job to make the models fit together and give an Animal Crossing like feeling. With many decorations, furniture and wall models to buy and place in your restaurant.

The plants especially look good and give the island a consistent and nature close feeling.

Release

The release of Farm to Table is not far off. On the Steam page it is set for Q2 2026. We can already see some features working that are still locked in the demo. Like NPC employees that you can hire for the kitchen and farm. Or a fishing rod to unlock new ingredients.

Developer

Farm to Table is the second project to see the light of day from the studio “IndieGiant Games”. They are a two-person team from Turkiye. Consisting of one developer and one community manager. They have our full respect and support for building such a polished game with such a small team. Their first game is called “Survivors of the Dawn” a top-down roguelite horde-survival shooter.

Upcoming Features

After playing Farm to Table I joined their discord to give some feedback, where I read that they are already working on a multiplayer Co-op so you can play Farm to Table with your friends. I think that once they implement the multiplayer Farm to Table will really take off.

Summary

I really liked the demo of Farm to Table and I am going to play it again once it fully releases. For those that like “company building” games or just want to relax once in a while I can recommend Farm to Table 100%.
While there are some faster moments when there are multiple customers it never gets so much that it gets stressful. There is currently a large wave of job simulators like “Fastfood Simulator”. Sadly most of them look the same and just change the product you’re selling. While Farm to Table changes it completely. They have the chance to be one of the best “job simulators” in 2026.

We wish IndieGiant Games all the support and success and hope to write more about them in the future.
